Carlsbad Cub Day Camp Needs Volunteers!
Let’s all help out and join the fun!!!
This year the Carlsbad Cub Scout Day Camp will be held June 27 – July 1st from 9am -4pm. The LDS Church on Monroe Street in Carlsbad has again graciously donated the use of their facilities for the benefit of all Cub Scouts in our District and we are all thankful for their generosity!
While much of Camp is youth led and youth may be put in leadership roles there is a call out for more adult volunteers. Specifically, the camp is in need of a Tiger Day Facilitator, a Sports Coach, and Den Leaders. If you are available to volunteer contact Amanda Rigby at 760-732-3147 or at smcampdirector@yahoo.com.
Why should you choose the Carlsbad Day Camp no matter where in the District you live? We are an aquatics camp which also has outdoor cooking, a shooting range, sports, and crafts! Our Family Pack Meeting will also include a Raingutter Regatta!!! In other words, we have more fun than any other camp EVER!!
There is still time to register for Cub camp! For more information go to:

Gift Wrappers Needed!
Can’t make it to the National Meeting this year, but still want to help? We will be wrapping gifts for the event both down here in our area and at Atherton Hall in San Diego and are looking for volunteers. The dates haven’t been chosen yet, as we are waiting for the items to arrive from the suppliers, but it will be in the next week. We really need adult volunteers that are crafty for this project. Contact Pam Dixon at northcountyeagles@hotmail.com if you are interested in helping.
